Our evening walks around Lake Daylesford are designed for those looking for a shorter, more casual, mindfulness experience. With an easy walking track and serene scenes of the lake, this evening walk is a great way to unwind at the end of the week.
During the walk we will stop along the way to mindfully tune into the lake and surrounding environment using our senses. You will be guided to practice listening to and observing everything from the colours and light to the birds and ripples across the lake, soaking in the small and joyous details of life. By mindfully tuning in to our surroundings we practice quietening our busy thinking minds, offering us respite from the stressors of our modern world. The landscape around the lake includes native Australian bush, as well as a gorgeous array of deciduous trees from Europe and the Americas to awaken and enliven your senses. The walk also includes a little history of Daylesford, a short compassion practice and a section of silent meditation walking. The walk finishes with a herbal tea at sunset overlooking the lake. Our presentation of mindfulness is down-to-earth and practical. All of the content in our tours is completely secular and backed by scientific research. Small group sizes, maximum 6 people per tour (minimum of 2 people to run the tour) Bookings essential & we recommend booking in advance. |
