Our mindfulness forest hikes are a 'team-building' activity that your staff will actually enjoy. What better way to spend a day away out of the office, then in the invigorating surrounds of the forest? Learn about mindfulness and how this can be useful in the workplace and for the wellness of your team, whilst also having fun, exploring and breathing in the fresh forest air.

Our programs offer an introduction to the ideas and concepts of mindfulness, as well as opportunities to practice these skills through guided forest engagement activities. We will provide the group with information and inspiration that they can take with them after they leave to continue with a mindfulness practice at home. Practicing mindfulness in the forest also offers a number of benefits from the natural environment. Studies into eco-therapy and forest-bathing continue to show how time in nature effectively lowers stress levels and improves immune system function. Forest-based experiences can also help improve creativity, self-esteem, mood and focus whilst reducing anxiety, depression and stress. This, combined with the similar wellness benefits of mindfulness, will offer your team a truly rejuvenating experience.

Mindfulness practices and spending time in nature both help support wellness by reducing stress levels in the body. Studies show that a 2 hour walk in the forest can effectively lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels in the body, as well as lowering blood pressure. ​​

Judy has over three years experience facilitating creative workshops for corporate groups. As a trained meditation teacher and knowledgeable outdoor guide, she will ensure your team has fun in the forest whilst also learning some useful and practical mindfulness skills. With a passion for psychology, mindfulness, adventure and nature connection, Judy will ensure your group gets the most out of their forest experience.
